Description

The Charlbury Signature corner set has a traditional rattan style but all the benefits of a modern corner set, seating up to eight people. The versatile design means you can dine or lounge on this set, indoors or outdoors. The set includes a corner sofa, a double bench and a rectangular high-low table with 5mm toughened, sunken glass so it has a completely flat top and doesn't allow movement. The table is height-adjustable to go from a coffee table to a casual dining table. Made with strong aluminium frames and UV-resistant hand-woven synthetic material, a hard-wearing traditional rattan look. The varied weave patterns include 5mm full round wicker on the edges and arms with 3mm horizontal flat weave and 5mm vertical double half round on the sides. Made for comfort, the cushions retain their shape thanks to the 5cm foam core and double piping. The set can be left outdoors all year round but bring the cushions in during inclement weather and over winter. Key features: Corner garden sofa seats up to six people; double garden bench Height-adjustable rectangular garden table with glass top Traditional-style handwoven synthetic wicker Weatherproof, rustproof and UV-resistant Lightweight yet robust aluminium frames Double piped cushions and 5cm foam core cushions Soft, weatherproof cushions Adjustable feet for uneven surfaces Easy to maintain Match with other furniture in the Charlbury range

Our Stylist Says

I love this set because it seamlessly blends practicality with a neutral, natural aesthetic, making it versatile for various outdoor styles. The rattan finish combined with the light cushions creates a relaxed yet refined vibe, perfect for contemporary or coastal gardens. Stylistically, it works well with soft outdoor throws or colourful cushions to add personality or keep it minimal with understated accessories. For interiors that extend to outdoor spaces, pairing it with natural tones or wooden features enhances its earthy appeal. Practical tips include keeping the cushions in weatherproof storage when not in use and adding a parasol or canopy for shade, transforming it into a functional and stylish focal point for al fresco dining or lounging.

About John Lewis

Founded in 1864, John Lewis is a trusted and beloved brand where you can find a diverse range of furniture for every style and budget, alongside finding the perfect item that reflects your personal taste.

A Legacy of Innovation and Inclusion

John Lewis started as a small shop on London's Oxford Street in 1864. Today, it's part of a bigger family called the John Lewis Partnership, which also includes Waitrose stores.

What makes them special is that they're owned by their employees, known as 'Partners'. The idea, from the beginning, was to give everyone a say in how the business was run. With over 74,000 Partners (employees) at the heart of its operations, the essence of John Lewis's vision, from over a century ago, still echoes today being the largest employee-owned venture.

Adapting to Changing Times

Like many stores, John Lewis has had to change with the times. They've closed some shops but have grown their online business a lot, especially when more people started shopping online during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Their history is filled with key moments, like buying Peter Jones in 1905, adding Waitrose in 1937, and starting their website in 2001. They've always tried to adapt and stay relevant.

Commitment to a Greater Purpose

John Lewis believes in doing good and making the world a better place. This is seen in the way they treat their employees and customers. For example, in 2021, they were the first big UK store to give parents six months paid leave when they have a baby and two weeks paid leave if they lose a pregnancy. They've been around for over a century and always aim to do the right thing by everyone.
