Description

Inspired by authentic tribal design, the Kennedy Cotton Flatweave rug, pairs a warm palette with traditional fringed finishing. Handfinished in Northern India by skilled rug artisans, in a blend of cotton and chenille, maximising the soft-touch effect. The versatile design of flatweave rugs make them suitable for any space, we love using them in social zones and placing under furniture. Don. ’. T forget to buy our anti-slip mat. Here. , available in a choice of sizes. This is a hand-made flatweave rug. When opening, re-roll your rug pile out and leave in a warm room for 24 hours before putting in place, this will help to reduce wrinkles and curling from packing. Turn your rug regularly to ensure even wear and reduce pressure marks from furniture. Do not pull any loose threads, please cut them carefully with scissors to remove. Avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight as this may cause fading of the colour. A small amount of fibre loss is normal on a new rug. Before using any cleaning products on your rug, test on an inconspicuous area first to ensure it does not affect the colour. Clean spills immediately by blotting with a clean dry white cloth - do not rub as this may stain the fibres. Vacuum your rug regularly to remove everyday dirt, we recommend the use of a suction type vacuum cleaner as a rotating vacuum brush can cause damage to the pile surface. We recommend the use of an anti-slip mat beneath your rug to prevent it from slipping and sliding out of place. Please do not leave babies or young children unsupervised on this rug.

Our Stylist Says

The Kennedy Cotton Flatweave Rug in bright pink, yellow, and black is a fantastic choice for adding a playful touch to a child's room or play area. I love how the bold colours bring energy and cheerfulness without overwhelming the space, making it ideal for informal, lively interiors. It works well layered over neutral flooring to help define a reading nook or play zone, and its flatweave texture makes it practical for little ones to sit on or move around. For styling, consider pairing it with simple, muted furniture and colourful accessories that pick up on the rug’s hues to create a balanced and inviting look. It's a versatile piece that can easily be integrated into modern, eclectic, or even Scandi-inspired interiors.
