Let nature bloom all around you with this handmade pure wool floral rug. Inspired by depictions of the Garden of Eden, our Keila rug will transport you to a poetic land of rich colours and botanical charm. Product Details • 100% wool • 4700 gsm • Thickness: 2.5 to 3cm • Weaving type: Handmade • Underfloor heating compatible: Yes • Interior Use: Yes • For outdoor use: No • Artisanal craftsmanship. Quality Info • Wool is a warm and comfortable fibre. A wool rug is also an excellent thermal and sound insulator. • Hand-braided, each piece is unique and may have small irregularities which make it authentic.. Colours and dimensions may vary slightly. Care information • Once unrolled, you must wait a few days for the carpet to return to its initial shape. • To keep the edges flat, roll your mat in the opposite direction. Leave it like this for an hour then put it back flat and place a heavy object on it for 2 days. • New, the carpet may give off an odour which dissipates over time. Ventilate your room regularly to reduce it. • To preserve its appearance, rotate your rug regularly in one direction or the other to minimise localised wear in the same places (due to successive passages), and loss of colour due to regular light exposure. Care instructions • Some materials are very fibrous (such as wool) Wool rugs pill naturally during the first few months: this is a normal for this type of product and is not a defect. Remove the excess fibres by hand where possible, do not use a vacuum cleaner with a rotating brush as this can pull and tear the fibres. The pilling will improve over time. • For maintenance, we advise you to vacuum it very little the first month and then to vacuum it without rubbing too much always without using the brush. • Compatible with robot vacuum cleaners: No • Remove stains immediately with a clean, damp cloth. • Dry clean recommended. Dimensions • Width 120 x Length 170cm • Width 160 x Length 230cm • Width 200cm x Length 290cm • OEKO-TEX® Standard 100. The OEKO-TEX® Standard 100 certification scheme monitors textile products for harmful substances through an independent, international certification scheme.
I love this floral print rug for its versatile charm and ability to add colour and character to a space. It works particularly well in cosy living rooms, bedrooms, or even a well-lit hallway, where its intricate design can be appreciated up close. In terms of styling, pairing it with neutral furnishings allows the pattern and colours to stand out, while layering with textured throws and cushions can create an inviting, curated feel. Practical tips include placing it in areas of moderate foot traffic to protect the wool and keep it looking fresh, and pairing with underlay for added comfort and durability. It’s a great piece for combining aesthetic appeal with everyday practicality.
