Description
Characterised by a distinctive pattern of spiralling circles, this hand-tufted rug brings charm and personality to any space, its subtle sheen adding a touch of luxury. Irresistibly soft underfoot, Kayo is hand-tufted with a super-thick pile and features a silvery-grey colourway This taupe colour taupe rug complements neutral schemes or contrast with otherwise colourful interiors. Hand-tufted rugs are typically the thickest type of rug. Instead of creating knots, loops of yarn are instead pulled through the rug's backing material with a hand-held tool. The loops are then sheared to create a smooth cut-pile surface. Hand-tufted rugs can shed excess fibres to begin with, and they do require regular cleaning with an upright vacuum cleaner to keep them looking their best.
