Description

I’m a fan of this Kassel shelf for its slim, open-frame design in matt black - it slots straight into modern, industrial or Scandi-inspired schemes without overwhelming the room. The staggered cube compartments add visual interest and make it equally useful as a room divider in an open-plan space.
To style it, mix books with objects of varying heights, tuck in a couple of woven baskets to keep smaller items organised and weave a trailing plant through the slatted cubes to soften the lines. Leave plenty of negative space so it stays airy, and use the lower shelves for heavier pieces (think ceramics or art books) to ground the look.
