The Karup Design Ziggy Bed with Storage Shelves offers practicality, style and simplicity. Appearing as if it's gently hovering above the floor, the wooden platform bed create a soothing escape, ready for you to relax and gently drift off into a deep sleep. Inspired by both Japanese and Scandinavian aesthetics, the low design has additional benefits. Helping regulate cooler temperatures, you're able to easily slip into an REM state and wake up feeling revitalized. Surrounding the island bed, store books in the alcove compartments and retire those bedside tables by using the extended sides and keep your bedroom free of clutter. Crafted from natural, responsibly sourced pine and expertly finished to the highest standards, get the sleep you deserve with the Karup Ziggy Bed!.
Our Stylist Says
I love this bed for its clever blend of function and style. The ziggy’s built-in storage shelves are a real bonus, making it ideal for smaller rooms or those seeking to maximise space. Its clean, minimalist design lends itself well to modern interiors, but it can also be dressed up in scandi or contemporary schemes with the addition of textured throws or colourful cushions. To style it effectively, consider placing a statement rug underneath and adding bedside lamps or wall art to create a cosy, personalised corner. The natural wood aesthetic works beautifully in neutral, earthy palettes, but it also pairs nicely with pastel tones or monochrome schemes for a more pared-back look.
