Description
The Piuma chair is one of the most revolutionary and enterprising products in Kartell’s repertoire of technology and materials. By applying its injection moulding techniques in a sophisticated new way that was designed especially for this material, an exclusive in the world of industrial design, Kartell has managed to create a chair that measures just a few millimetres thick (2 mm max), resulting in an ultra-light product (barely 2.2 kg).

I often specify the Piuma chair in sage for its slim, moulded shell and gentle hue that suits Scandi-style kitchens, modern dining rooms or home offices. The durable polyamide frame works just as well indoors or on a covered terrace, and the soft green pairs beautifully with oak tables, jute rugs and terracotta accents. For extra comfort and texture, add a bouclé cushion or soft wool throw.

Heal's is a well-known British furniture store with a history that spans over 200 years. It began in 1810 when John Harris Heal and his son started a business for feather products but soon moved into furniture.
