I’m a big fan of the P/Wood dining chair for its clean silhouette and the contrast between the warm veneer seat and the slim black metal legs. It works equally well in a Scandi-inspired kitchen, a pared-back industrial loft or a contemporary open-plan dining area. For styling, group them around a simple oak or black-stained table, introduce a textured wool rug underneath to soften the look, and add subtle seat pads in charcoal or muted terracotta to tie in with the chair’s finish.

Heal's is a well-known British furniture store with a history that spans over 200 years. It began in 1810 when John Harris Heal and his son started a business for feather products but soon moved into furniture.
