I always reach for the Kartell “Ghost” chair when I need seating that disappears into the room rather than dominates it. Its clear polycarbonate frame works equally well in a pared-back Scandi look or a more colourful, maximalist scheme, and it’s tough enough for everyday use - even outdoor dining in summer.
Styling tip: layer it around a solid wood table to let the grain do the talking, or add a slim seat pad in a contrasting hue for comfort and a pop of colour. Because it’s stackable and lightweight, it’s ideal for small spaces or flexible entertaining.
