Description

The Louis Ghost Chair by Philippe Starck for Kartell. Louis Ghost is the most daring example of polycarbonate injection in a single mould and these chairs offer lots of support and surprising comfort. A cult product and an interpretation of the Louis XV chair, we are pleased to offer three of the most popular colours. These chairs are to be enjoyed, not just admired!.

Our Stylist Says

The Louis Ghost is a clever choice for adding a touch of contemporary elegance to a wide range of interiors, thanks to its transparent design that creates a sense of openness. It works particularly well in modern and minimalist spaces, but can also add a chic accent to eclectic or transitional styles. I love pairing it with soft textiles, such as cushions or upholstered seats, to bring contrast and comfort. For practical styling, consider mixing it with darker or textured tables to avoid overly monochrome settings and to highlight its sleek silhouette. It’s a versatile piece that combines style with practicality, making it suitable for both everyday dining and more formal settings.

About Graham & Green

Founded in 1974, Graham & Green are a family business that started in Notting Hill, and have many pieces that bring touch of individuality and character to any space.

The Inception of a Lifestyle Brand

In 1974, Antonia started Graham & Green after a trip to India. She wanted to be independent and worked with traders from different countries. This led her to create the UK's first 'lifestyle' brand, bringing unique home items from places like India, Morocco, and Europe.

The first Graham & Green store opened in Notting Hill in 1974, showcasing Antonia's special collection of items from around the world. You can still visit this original store on Elgin Crescent today.

Evolution through Generations

Graham & Green has a rich history full of important moments. In 1980, they started creating hand-drawn mail-order catalogues to share their store's charm with more people.

They opened a new store in Primrose Hill in 1994, reflecting the brand's playful and free nature.

Antonia's son, Jamie, took a creative lead in 1998. Having studied at Kingston University, he began designing unique furniture collections, shifting Graham & Green from not only importing items but also creating them.

Then, in 1999, Graham & Green launched their first website, allowing people all across the UK to shop their collections online.

Milestones and Memories

Over time, Graham & Green has marked its journey with special products, like unique Birthday items with lovebird designs. After Antonia led the brand for 37 years, Jamie and Lou took over, pushing Graham & Green to grow even more.

They opened big stores in Bayswater and Bath in 2016. By 2018, Graham & Green updated their website to keep it modern and stylish for their customers.
