This innovative lamp redefines traditional lighting with its unique bulb/shade configuration. The lampshade, crafted from eco-friendly polycarbonate, ensures an even distribution of light, enhancing the ambience of any space. Available in table and floor versions, Angelo Stone comes in three elegant finishes: champagne, copper, and titanium, allowing it to seamlessly integrate into a variety of interior styles. Illuminate your environment with the revolutionary design of Angelo Stone, where light is not just emitted but artfully reflected and shared with its surroundings

Our Stylist Says

I love the sleek modern edge of this lamp, particularly how its black and titanium tones bring a sophisticated touch. It works brilliantly in contemporary and minimalist interiors, adding both style and function without overpowering the space. When styling, consider pairing it with neutral or monochrome palettes to highlight its design details, or use it as a statement piece on a side table or console. Practical tips include placing it on a bedside table or desk to create a cosy, well-lit nook, and pairing it with other matte black or metallic accents for a cohesive look. Its clean silhouette makes it versatile enough to complement both urban apartments and elegant living rooms.

About Barker and Stonehouse

Founded in 1946, Barker and Stonehouse offer a diverse range of stylish and timeless pieces. From contemporary to traditional designs, Barker and Stonehouse brings sophistication and comfort to every room.

A Remarkable Journey

Born from the vision of two young RAF men, Charles Barker and Alex Stonehouse, Barker and Stonehouse emerged as a beacon of hope, infusing post-war Britain with a hint of glamour. Starting from a single store in Stockton on Tees, their entrepreneurial spirit led to rapid expansion, opening multiple stores across the region.

Their fast growth was fueled not only by their flair for business but also by their dedication to innovation. The business transformed over the years, adapting to the changing landscapes of retail, all while preserving its charm and values. By 2021, they marked an impressive 75 years in the industry, a testament to their enduring commitment to quality and customer service.

Sustainability at the Forefront

From the very start, Barker and Stonehouse has held a deep commitment to the environment. This devotion was showcased through initiatives such as the Trees4Trees Project, a reforestation effort in Indonesia.

Ensuring that for every tree used in their products, more than two were replanted, nearly 1.5 million trees have been restored under this initiative.

Their Knaresborough store, one of the greenest retail stores in the UK, further underscores their dedication to sustainable practices. As a cherry on top, by 2021, the company achieved the status of "Carbon Neutral Plus", making them a trailblazer in the furniture industry.

Innovative Spaces and Expanding Horizons

Over the decades, Barker and Stonehouse didn't just expand in number, but in the quality and innovation of their spaces. From opening their iconic store in Battersea, London, which beautifully preserved the characteristics of an old candle factory, to their latest state-of-the-art Gateshead store in 2023, every location tells a story.

They have also ventured into digital realms, ensuring a vast online presence and offering a wide range of products to customers all over the UK. Their partnerships, like the one with Fenwick in 2021, illustrate their adaptability and constant quest to reach new audiences.
