Description

Bask in the poetic elegance of the Titanium Glow Floor Lamp, a masterpiece crafted by the visionary Philippe Starck. This enchanting lamp redefines illumination, breaking away from the conventional light bulb and shade paradigm. Here, light does not descend from above but radiates from an LED nestled within the stem, casting a magical glow upon the hat-shaped shade. From this innovative design, a dance of high-tech lens reflections emerges, generously embracing and adorning the surrounding environment with a symphony of light. The lampshade, moulded from a single piece of polycarbonate in an eco-friendly green process, ensures a seamless and uniform diffusion of light, enhancing the beauty of any space it graces. Available in three exquisite finishes: champagne, copper, and titanium. The Floor Lamp is a harmonious blend of art and technology, a beacon of elegance and sophistication. Let the Titanium Glow Floor Lamp illuminate your world, transforming your space into a haven of poetic light and refined beauty

Our Stylist Says

This lamp is a real statement piece thanks to its striking copper and gold finish, making it ideal for modern living rooms or sophisticated reading corners. I love how its sleek, minimal silhouette can add a touch of warmth and luxury without feeling overpowering. It's versatile enough to work in both contemporary and eclectic interiors, especially when paired with natural textures or metallic accents. Practically, I recommend placing it beside a comfy armchair or sofa to create a cosy reading nook; you can also consider using a dimmable bulb to control the ambiance. Keep styling simple around it to allow its metallic finish to stand out and make it a focal point in your space.

About Barker and Stonehouse

Founded in 1946, Barker and Stonehouse offer a diverse range of stylish and timeless pieces. From contemporary to traditional designs, Barker and Stonehouse brings sophistication and comfort to every room.

A Remarkable Journey

Born from the vision of two young RAF men, Charles Barker and Alex Stonehouse, Barker and Stonehouse emerged as a beacon of hope, infusing post-war Britain with a hint of glamour. Starting from a single store in Stockton on Tees, their entrepreneurial spirit led to rapid expansion, opening multiple stores across the region.

Their fast growth was fueled not only by their flair for business but also by their dedication to innovation. The business transformed over the years, adapting to the changing landscapes of retail, all while preserving its charm and values. By 2021, they marked an impressive 75 years in the industry, a testament to their enduring commitment to quality and customer service.

Sustainability at the Forefront

From the very start, Barker and Stonehouse has held a deep commitment to the environment. This devotion was showcased through initiatives such as the Trees4Trees Project, a reforestation effort in Indonesia.

Ensuring that for every tree used in their products, more than two were replanted, nearly 1.5 million trees have been restored under this initiative.

Their Knaresborough store, one of the greenest retail stores in the UK, further underscores their dedication to sustainable practices. As a cherry on top, by 2021, the company achieved the status of "Carbon Neutral Plus", making them a trailblazer in the furniture industry.

Innovative Spaces and Expanding Horizons

Over the decades, Barker and Stonehouse didn't just expand in number, but in the quality and innovation of their spaces. From opening their iconic store in Battersea, London, which beautifully preserved the characteristics of an old candle factory, to their latest state-of-the-art Gateshead store in 2023, every location tells a story.

They have also ventured into digital realms, ensuring a vast online presence and offering a wide range of products to customers all over the UK. Their partnerships, like the one with Fenwick in 2021, illustrate their adaptability and constant quest to reach new audiences.
