Description

Add an asymmetrical and chic design to your decor with this contemporary bookcase. The geometric open shelves create an airy and versatile display space that even can be used to divide a room. You can place it in any room - the living room, bedroom, or study room. Display framed photos vases and accessories and store your books and magazines. No matter how you style this design it's sure to bring a bit of aesthetic and chic style to your home.

Our Stylist Says

I love the Karlin ladder shelf for its clean lines and the way the white-and-teak finish brings warmth without feeling heavy. Its staggered, open design works equally well in a Scandinavian-inspired living room, a contemporary study or even as a room divider in a small flat, since it allows light to pass through and keeps the space feeling airy. When styling, aim for a mix of books and objects in odd-numbered groups: stack a few books horizontally, lean one or two vertically, then slot in a small plant or a sculptural vase to soften the angles. Leave at least one shelf partly clear to prevent the display looking overcrowded, and vary heights by pairing taller items like slim candlesticks with lower pieces such as bowls or photo frames.

About The Range

Founded in 1989, The Range is the fastest growing retailer in the UK with an extensive selection to cater to a variety of styles and budgets. The Range provides affordable and quality products to enhance your living space.

Humble Beginnings

In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth. By 1989, this entrepreneurial spirit led to the opening of the very first physical store on Billacombe Road, originally named "C.D.S. Superstores". However, in the early '90s, a rebranding took place, introducing "The Range" to the world.

Today, with a whopping 200+ stores across the UK, The Range boasts an impressive selection of over 65,000 products, spreading across 16 diverse departments, all dedicated to enhancing homes and lifestyles.

A Visionary Leader

Chris Dawson, the brain behind The Range, held the CEO position from 1989 to 2017. With a flair for business, Chris's achievements haven't gone unnoticed. He was even ranked fifth in a survey of Britain's Top 100 Entrepreneurs.

Under his leadership, The Range has not only thrived locally but has also hinted at European expansion dreams, envisioning a staggering 1,000 stores across the continent.

More Than Just Stores

You can find The Range in many places, mostly outside town centres, but also in shopping areas. Some stores have a coffee shop called "Dee Dee's", and others even have a food section from Iceland. And if you like online shopping, The Range has got you covered there too with a big online store.
