Description

Scandi style designs for your home interior with the Kamina Throw. Featuring a two-tonal white and grey finish, contrasting diamond pattern, and charming tassels, this throw adds a playful touch to your decor. Use this throw to stay warm on chilly evenings or as an accent piece draped over a chair or sofa, making a delightful addition to any room.

Our Stylist Says

The grey Kamina throw is a versatile piece that adds a cosy, modern touch to various interiors. I love its understated pattern and neutral tone, making it easy to style with both contemporary and transitional schemes. It works particularly well layered over a bed for adding warmth and texture or draped over a sofa for casual, relaxed appeal. Practical styling tips include pairing it with monochrome or natural colour palettes to keep the look neat and balanced, and folding it neatly at the foot of the bed or spilling it over a corner of the sofa for a relaxed vibe. Its subtle design lends itself to creating an inviting, well-curated space without overpowering other decor elements.

About BHS.com

Founded in 1928, BHS is a renowned brand that caters to various tastes and budgets. From modern to classic designs, BHS offers quality items that effortlessly elevate your decor.

Historical Roots

British Home Stores, known as BHS, was founded by a group of U.S. entrepreneurs with the goal of replicating the same success that was seen by Woolworths.

Their first store was on the streets of Brixton and the brand quickly gained popularity for its diverse offerings.

Over time, their range of products expanded to encompass not just clothing and household items, but also furniture, electronics, entertainment, and even beauty products. By the 1960's, BHS already had 94 stores across the nation!

Expansion and Evolution

BHS has always been on the cutting edge of retail trends! In the 1970s and 1980s, when indoor shopping centres were gaining popularity, BHS quickly adapted. Their collaboration with Sainsbury's led to the creation of SavaCentre hypermarkets, which offered a combined retail experience of both general merchandise and groceries.

They didn't limit themselves to the UK either. By 1985, BHS opened its doors in Gibraltar, marking its international debut. Significant milestones like the merger with Habitat and Mothercare in 1986 further shaped its success.
