Feather filled back and base cushions offer comforting support which, combined with the P-shaped arms and relaxed tilt to the seat, encourage a laid back perch. I’m a fan of the Kalmar sofa in sand herringbone because its soft neutral weave adds subtle texture without overwhelming a scheme. It slots easily into modern classic, Scandi or coastal-inspired rooms and its generous seat depth makes it as practical for loungers as it is for guests. For styling, balance the pale tone with a pair of mid-toned cushions in linen or boucle, then layer a knitted throw over one arm.
