Our Stylist Says

I’m a big fan of this mustard velvet two-seater because the warm, punchy colour lifts a room without shouting, and the soft velvet fabric adds a touch of luxury. Its streamlined silhouette and turned wooden feet make it versatile enough for mid-century modern, contemporary or even eclectic schemes. To style it, place it against a neutral or deep-toned wall to really let the mustard hue pop. Layer with cushions in muted greens, burnt orange or slate grey, and add a chunky knit throw for texture. Keep side tables in brass or light wood to pick up on the sofa’s warmth, and top them with simple lamps or sculptural vases to complete the look.
