Our Stylist Says

I’m a fan of this two-seater for its fresh French-blue stripe and relaxed cotton cover - it immediately lifts a room without feeling over the top. It works particularly well in coastal, country-cottage or modern farmhouse schemes, but equally brightens a simple contemporary space. For styling, pair it with natural-tone linens or a chunky knit throw in soft grey or sand, and add scatter cushions in muted greens or pale terracotta to pick up the stripe’s warmth. A reclaimed-wood coffee table and a woven jute rug will complete the look, while metal-finished floor lamps introduce a subtle layer of contrast.

Origins and Evolution

Cox & Cox has a rich history that intertwines with British interior design. The brand traces its roots to Fiona Cox, a renowned figure in the UK's design scene who made waves with her appearance on the BBC's hit show, Home Front.

Fast forward to today, and they're stationed in Frome, Somerset, having evolved from tiny decorative trinkets to an expansive range of stylish furniture and more.

Globe-Trotting for the Perfect Piece

The team at Cox & Cox have a knack for hunting down unique pieces. They travel around the globe, exploring markets, meeting artisans, and diving into the world of design.

Out of the hundreds of items they come across, they meticulously select those that align with their ethos high-quality, functional, and stylish. And, with their offerings split into six distinct trends, they've got a bit of inspiration for every kind of home lover.

Marching Towards Sustainability

Cox & Cox is not just about aesthetic appeal; they are deeply committed to becoming a responsible brand.

Recognizing the long journey towards true sustainability, they've put in place an advisory board dedicated to advancing the use of sustainable materials and promoting responsible practices, both domestically and abroad.
