A clean sweep to the angle of the arms adds flourish to the outline of our Kalmar sofa. Feather filled back and base cushions offer comforting support which, combined with the P-shaped arms and relaxed tilt to the seat, encourage a laid back perch. I’m a fan of this chalk velvet two-seater for its soft, neutral hue and pared-back silhouette - it slips into everything from Scandi-inspired schemes to more traditional, panelled rooms. The velvet adds a subtle sheen without shouting, while the turned wooden legs give it a gently classic twist. For styling, layer in scatter cushions in muted greens or warm terracotta to tie in with darker walls or natural accents.
