Feather filled back and base cushions offer comforting support which, combined with the P-shaped arms and relaxed tilt to the seat, encourage a laid back perch. I’m a big fan of the Kalmar sofa in soft rose cotton‐linen - its relaxed roll arms and deep, feather‐filled cushions strike the perfect balance between comfort and structure. The muted pink hue works beautifully in Scandi schemes alongside pale woods and ceramics, but it’s equally at home in a more traditional setting when paired with darker joinery or patterned rugs. For styling, keep cushions varied in texture but tonal - think oatmeal linen, moss green velvet or a simple boucle square. A chunky knit throw in a neutral shade adds both cosiness and contrast, while a slim‐legged oak coffee table ensures the sofa remains the focal point.
