Description

A dramatic angle to the line of the P-shaped arms gives our Kalmar armchair its contemporary silhouette. Feather filled back and base cushions offer comforting support which, combined with the relaxed tilt to the seat, encourage a laid back perch. A matching Kalmar sofa is available in two and three seat sizes. Our Kalmar collection can be upholstered in a choice of 34 distinctive shades and six fabrics to suit your style. Our Stylist Says

I often reach for this taupe linen armchair when I want a versatile, hard-wearing piece that feels both relaxed and tailored. The softly rolled arms and turned wooden legs give it a timeless look, while the cotton-linen mix cleans up easily and wears well in daily use. It slots neatly into contemporary, Scandi-inspired or farmhouse-style schemes. Tuck in a textured cushion or a small wool throw for extra cosiness, then balance it with a slim side table in light oak and a simple floor lamp. The neutral hue also makes it easy to layer around bolder rugs or art.

Origins and Evolution

Cox & Cox has a rich history that intertwines with British interior design. The brand traces its roots to Fiona Cox, a renowned figure in the UK's design scene who made waves with her appearance on the BBC's hit show, Home Front.

Fast forward to today, and they're stationed in Frome, Somerset, having evolved from tiny decorative trinkets to an expansive range of stylish furniture and more.

Globe-Trotting for the Perfect Piece

The team at Cox & Cox have a knack for hunting down unique pieces. They travel around the globe, exploring markets, meeting artisans, and diving into the world of design.

Out of the hundreds of items they come across, they meticulously select those that align with their ethos high-quality, functional, and stylish. And, with their offerings split into six distinct trends, they've got a bit of inspiration for every kind of home lover.

Marching Towards Sustainability

Cox & Cox is not just about aesthetic appeal; they are deeply committed to becoming a responsible brand.
