Feather filled back and base cushions offer comforting support which, combined with the relaxed tilt to the seat, encourage a laid back perch. I’m a fan of this mineral-velvet chair for its soft, mid-grey hue and gently rolled arms - it feels both comfortable and refined. It sits equally well in Scandi-inspired spaces or more traditional settings, thanks to its turned wooden legs and neutral tone. For practical styling, add a textured cushion in a contrasting colour (deep teal or ochre work nicely) and drape a lightweight wool throw over one arm. Position it by a slimline side table with a brass lamp to create a cosy reading nook that doesn’t overwhelm a room.
