Description
Designer Anna Kraitz is often inspired by everyday life. This type of coat rack was so good that Anna didn’t want to change it much, but rather make it her thing. Anna has previously worked with belts (as in the Mama Look sofa), which carry strong symbolism. In this way it becomes its own figure and it shouldn’t be tucked away in a corner. Anna associated it with the film Dirty Dancing, where Patrick Swayze says: Nobody puts baby in a corner. At the same time she didn’t want to name it Baby, because this coat rack is not a little child — it’s a Babe! Babe is available in lacquered or patinated metal with a leather strap in black, brown and natural.
