Description
Designed in 1936 by Christian Dell, the KAISER idell 6556-T Table Light combines premium materials with precision engineering; its name 'idell' joins the designer's name with the German word for 'idea'. The 6556-T Table Light is manufactured by Fritz Hansen and characterised by its compact form, slightly asymmetrical shade and world-patented, swivel ball-jointed mechanism, which makes the shade easy to adjust so you can customise the lamp's light to suit your space. A practitioner at the Bauhaus metal workshop, silversmith-turned-industrial designer Christian Dell was a metalworking expert and combined hand-polished, chrome-plated brass stems with timeless hand-lacquered steel shades to create the ever-contemporary KAISER idell collection. Epitomising the Bauhaus aesthetic, the KAISER idell 6556-T Table Light would enhance any side table or bedside with its sleek contemporary form and makes an ideal reading task light or simply adds subtle ambience with its adjustable shade and stem. Available in an assortment of colours, each 6556-T Table Light comes with a certificate of authenticity and has a unique serial number engraved on its base.
