Designed in 1936 by Christian Dell, the KAISER idell 6556-F Floor Light combines premium materials with precision engineering; its name 'idell' joins the designer's name with the German word for 'idea'. The 6556-F Floor Light is manufactured by Fritz Hansen and characterised by its slightly asymmetrical shade and world-patented, swivel ball-jointed mechanism, which makes the shade easy to adjust so you can customise the lamp's light to suit your space. A practitioner at the Bauhaus metal workshop, silversmith-turned-industrial designer Christian Dell was a metalworking expert and combined hand-polished, chrome-plated brass stems with timeless hand-lacquered steel shades to create the ever-contemporary KAISER idell collection.
