Description

Put your feet up, sit back and relax. Our 100% wool footstool is not just super soft and comfy, it's hugely stylish. In a vibrant colour palette with textured chevron detailing it is an eye-catching and distinctive accent piece. Good for resting feet, ideal to perch a tray on, or use as a temporary seat. This wool pouffe is practical and versatile with an authentic handcrafted look. It gets our vote.

Our Stylist Says

I love this footstool for its vibrant, textured fabric that adds warmth and character to a space. Its relaxed, slightly slouchy shape makes it versatile for both contemporary and bohemian interiors, especially those with a colourful or eclectic palette. It's perfect as a footrest in living rooms or a casual side seat - style it with a neutral sofa for a pop of colour, or pair it with other warm-toned textiles for a layered, inviting look. Practical tips include using it as a base for a small side table with a tray on top, or grouping a few with larger pouffes for a relaxed, conversational seating area. This piece is both functional and a statement, making it easy to elevate an understated space.

About Habitat

Founded in 1964, Habitat are a renowned brand, and a go-to destination for modern and stylish furniture and home accessories.

The Birth of Habitat

In 1964, Sir Terence Conran founded Habitat in London, aiming to bring a fresh European touch to UK home decor.

The first store, located on Fulham Road in Chelsea, became the blueprint for all Habitat stores to come. The store stood out with its distinct design, and was famously known for selling affordable pasta storage jars just as the pasta market began booming in the UK.

Rapid Expansion & Legacy

Habitat grew swiftly in the UK during the 1960s and even crossed borders with its first international store in Paris in 1973.

The brand's journey through the decades saw various mergers and acquisitions, including its integration with Sainsbury's Group in 2017.

Habitat's innovation extended beyond products; they even launched a mail-order system in 1966 and initiated the concept of flat-pack furniture in 1971.

Celebrating its rich history, the brand marked its 50th anniversary in 2014 by collaborating with past designers and commissioning a special logo.

Innovation & Collaboration

Habitat has always been at the forefront of modern design. Throughout its history, the brand has been renowned for its collaborations with acclaimed artists and designers, ensuring it consistently offers unique, limited-edition collections.

Under the umbrella of the Sainsbury's Group since 2017, Habitat continues its tradition of merging contemporary aesthetics with functional design, solidifying its reputation as a leading name in home furnishings.
