I’m a fan of the Kai side table for its clean, no-fuss silhouette and lightweight feel - the raised tray top is practical for corralling coasters or a small plant. Its slim, tripod legs and matt black finish mean it sits just as comfortably in a Scandi-inspired living room as it does in a loft-style bedroom or home office. To style it, try grouping three items of varying height - for example a low candle, a mid-sized pot plant and a small stack of books - to create balance without clutter. Because the top lifts off, you can also use it as a serving tray when you need an extra surface, then simply slot it back in place when you’re done.
