Description
Scandinavian-inspired Jyvaskyla extendable dining table in white oak veneer, finished in oiled matt to highlight natural grain and texture. The clean plank tabletop and angular legs create a modern, lightweight profile for contemporary kitchens and dining rooms. Extends to 286 cm to seat eight with neat leaves that tuck away when not in use, while generous seating before extending keeps everyday meals comfortable. Flat-packed for straightforward assembly, built to last for family meals and entertaining.
Our Stylist Says
I love the Jyvaskyla table for its versatile, modern design and functional extendability, making it a practical choice for both everyday use and larger gatherings. Its neutral finish allows it to easily slot into various interior styles, from Scandi and minimalist to contemporary. To style it effectively, consider pairing with streamlined chairs in complementary tones or textures to add interest. Incorporate a centrepiece like a simple vase or a selection of candles for a relaxed, welcoming vibe. The extendable feature helps maximise space when needed, making it ideal for smaller dining rooms or open-plan kitchens, whilst still offering ample space when fully extended.

About The Range
Humble Beginnings
In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth. By 1989, this entrepreneurial spirit led to the opening of the very first physical store on Billacombe Road, originally named "C.D.S. Superstores". However, in the early '90s, a rebranding took place, introducing "The Range" to the world.
Today, with a whopping 200+ stores across the UK, The Range boasts an impressive selection of over 65,000 products, spreading across 16 diverse departments, all dedicated to enhancing homes and lifestyles.
A Visionary Leader
Chris Dawson, the brain behind The Range, held the CEO position from 1989 to 2017. With a flair for business, Chris's achievements haven't gone unnoticed. He was even ranked fifth in a survey of Britain's Top 100 Entrepreneurs.
Under his leadership, The Range has not only thrived locally but has also hinted at European expansion dreams, envisioning a staggering 1,000 stores across the continent.
More Than Just Stores
You can find The Range in many places, mostly outside town centres, but also in shopping areas. Some stores have a coffee shop called "Dee Dee's", and others even have a food section from Iceland. And if you like online shopping, The Range has got you covered there too with a big online store.
