Our Stylist Says
The jumbo cord fabric footstool in black is a versatile piece that works well in both contemporary and cosy interiors. I love its textured cord finish, which adds depth and tactile interest without overwhelming the space. It’s an excellent addition to casual living rooms or family spaces, where durability is key. Practical styling tips include pairing it with neutral-toned sofas for contrast, or using it as a flexible seating option that can double as a footrest or even a minimalist side table with a tray on top. Its compact size makes it easy to tuck into smaller rooms or corner spots, while the black hue ensures it remains timeless and easy to coordinate with a range of colour schemes.

About The Range
Humble Beginnings
In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth. By 1989, this entrepreneurial spirit led to the opening of the very first physical store on Billacombe Road, originally named "C.D.S. Superstores". However, in the early '90s, a rebranding took place, introducing "The Range" to the world.
Today, with a whopping 200+ stores across the UK, The Range boasts an impressive selection of over 65,000 products, spreading across 16 diverse departments, all dedicated to enhancing homes and lifestyles.
A Visionary Leader
Chris Dawson, the brain behind The Range, held the CEO position from 1989 to 2017. With a flair for business, Chris's achievements haven't gone unnoticed. He was even ranked fifth in a survey of Britain's Top 100 Entrepreneurs.
Under his leadership, The Range has not only thrived locally but has also hinted at European expansion dreams, envisioning a staggering 1,000 stores across the continent.
More Than Just Stores
You can find The Range in many places, mostly outside town centres, but also in shopping areas. Some stores have a coffee shop called "Dee Dee's", and others even have a food section from Iceland. And if you like online shopping, The Range has got you covered there too with a big online store.
