Description
The Rita is a beautiful, Adnet-inspired Red Gesso clad bed with contrasting decorative brass rings. Gesso is a hand applied finish which is moulded by hand. As a result the finish is unique in both appearance and texture. Upholstery: Unless otherwise instructed at the point of order, our upholsterer/s will, depending on the type and thickness of fabric/leather/velvet, use their own discretion when deciding how to proceed with placement, piping, studding etc.

I’m a fan of how the red gesso frame and aged-brass fittings give the Rita bed a crisp, modern-vintage feel without overwhelming the room. Its slim four-poster silhouette works equally well in a pared-back Scandi-influenced interior or a more eclectic scheme. Keep bedding neutral (think ivory or stone) so the red remains the focal point, then echo the brass detail in your lighting or small accessories. It’s especially effective against white or deep jewel-tone walls and pairs nicely with a low-pile rug and simple bedside tables to let the bed’s clean lines really stand out.
