The Diego Chest plays with both form and a juxtaposition of materials with stunning results. The interior drawers finished in Julian Chichester's innovative Brass Faux Shagreen seem to float within the outer frame. Bronze and Brass coating are hand applied finishes and therefore unique in both Colour and Texture.

I’m a big fan of this Diego chest for its striking contrast between the aged brass drawer fronts and the dark-stained beech frame. Its clean lines and solid proportions mean it works equally well in a contemporary living room as it does in a more traditional hallway or bedroom.
For styling, keep the top clutter-free: a low, curved table lamp and a small stack of art books let the brass really shine without competing. On the wall above, a simple black-frame mirror or graphic art print will tie everything together. Inside, the roomy drawers are ideal for stashing blankets, stationery or everyday essentials out of sight.
