Description

Us Brits always say "lovely weather for ducks" but what if ducks didn't find the rain at all lovely and instead wanted an umbrella too? It's this kind of whimsical thinking that lead the Joules print team to conjure up the new "Ducks March" print for this bedding set. Featuring a selection of hand-drawn ducks, some holding a sunshine yellow brolly, this is a set that will have you starting the day with a smile. The print sits against a solid navy background, is bordered by a fine cord piping in a bright yellow and has a reverse that features the same duck print against a thin blue stripe. Better Cotton By choosing our cotton products, you’re supporting our investment in Better Cotton’s mission to help cotton communities survive and thrive while protecting and restoring the environment. Better Cotton Farmers are farmers who care for the environment and respect workers’ rights and wellbeing. This product is sourced via a system of mass balance and therefore may not contain Better Cotton. The single set comes with one Oxford pillowcase, while the double, king and super king sets come with two Oxford pillowcases. Additional standard pillowcases are available to buy separately in pairs. Our Stylist Says

I love this Joules Ducks March duvet set for its playful yet versatile design, making it a great choice for both children’s bedrooms and spaces where a touch of whimsy is welcome. It works particularly well in cosy, country-style interiors or modern schemes that incorporate fun, patterned textiles. To style it effortlessly, pair it with neutral cushions and a soft, coordinating throw for a layered look, and consider adding wooden or rattan accessories to enhance its relaxed, outdoorsy vibe. It’s practical too, with a vibrant print that hides everyday splashes or stains, making it a smart choice for busy households.

About John Lewis

Founded in 1864, John Lewis is a trusted and beloved brand where you can find a diverse range of furniture for every style and budget, alongside finding the perfect item that reflects your personal taste.

A Legacy of Innovation and Inclusion

John Lewis started as a small shop on London's Oxford Street in 1864. Today, it's part of a bigger family called the John Lewis Partnership, which also includes Waitrose stores.

What makes them special is that they're owned by their employees, known as 'Partners'. The idea, from the beginning, was to give everyone a say in how the business was run. With over 74,000 Partners (employees) at the heart of its operations, the essence of John Lewis's vision, from over a century ago, still echoes today being the largest employee-owned venture.

Adapting to Changing Times

Like many stores, John Lewis has had to change with the times. They've closed some shops but have grown their online business a lot, especially when more people started shopping online during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Their history is filled with key moments, like buying Peter Jones in 1905, adding Waitrose in 1937, and starting their website in 2001. They've always tried to adapt and stay relevant.

Commitment to a Greater Purpose

John Lewis believes in doing good and making the world a better place. This is seen in the way they treat their employees and customers. For example, in 2021, they were the first big UK store to give parents six months paid leave when they have a baby and two weeks paid leave if they lose a pregnancy. They've been around for over a century and always aim to do the right thing by everyone.
