Our Stylist Says

I love the Jonas & James Lelia narrow display cabinet for its sleek, modern design and versatile colour palette, making it an excellent choice for contemporary or minimalist interiors. Its platinum and light grey tones adapt well to neutral schemes, while the slim profile ensures it doesn't overpower smaller spaces, ideal for hallways or compact living rooms. Practical styling tips include using it to showcase both decorative and everyday items-think family photos, ceramics, or books-while keeping the inside organised with minimal clutter. The right hand door opening adds to its convenience, making it easy to access your display items. Pair it with underlying lighting or contrasting accessories to enhance its clean lines and keep your display area tidy and stylish.

About The Range

Founded in 1989, The Range is the fastest growing retailer in the UK with an extensive selection to cater to a variety of styles and budgets. The Range provides affordable and quality products to enhance your living space.

Humble Beginnings

In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth. By 1989, this entrepreneurial spirit led to the opening of the very first physical store on Billacombe Road, originally named "C.D.S. Superstores". However, in the early '90s, a rebranding took place, introducing "The Range" to the world.

Today, with a whopping 200+ stores across the UK, The Range boasts an impressive selection of over 65,000 products, spreading across 16 diverse departments, all dedicated to enhancing homes and lifestyles.

A Visionary Leader

Chris Dawson, the brain behind The Range, held the CEO position from 1989 to 2017. With a flair for business, Chris's achievements haven't gone unnoticed. He was even ranked fifth in a survey of Britain's Top 100 Entrepreneurs.

Under his leadership, The Range has not only thrived locally but has also hinted at European expansion dreams, envisioning a staggering 1,000 stores across the continent.

More Than Just Stores

You can find The Range in many places, mostly outside town centres, but also in shopping areas. Some stores have a coffee shop called "Dee Dee's", and others even have a food section from Iceland. And if you like online shopping, The Range has got you covered there too with a big online store.
