I’m a fan of the Lelia extending table for its clean lines and versatile Riviera oak finish paired with a soft white apron - it brings a fresh, airy feel without looking fussy. It sits equally well in a light-scandi kitchen, a relaxed coastal-diner or a modern farmhouse dining area. For styling, keep it simple: a runner in natural linen, a cluster of ceramic vases or a low oak tray with candles, and mix seating - perhaps an upholstered bench on one side and slim-profile chairs on the other. When you extend it, balance the extra length with a long table lamp or two pendant lights hung in a straight line to keep everything looking intentional.

In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth. By 1989, this entrepreneurial spirit led to the opening of the very first physical store on Billacombe Road, originally named "C.D.S. Superstores". However, in the early '90s, a rebranding took place, introducing "The Range" to the world.
Today, with a whopping 200+ stores across the UK, The Range boasts an impressive selection of over 65,000 products, spreading across 16 diverse departments, all dedicated to enhancing homes and lifestyles.
Chris Dawson, the brain behind The Range, held the CEO position from 1989 to 2017. With a flair for business, Chris's achievements haven't gone unnoticed. He was even ranked fifth in a survey of Britain's Top 100 Entrepreneurs.
Under his leadership, The Range has not only thrived locally but has also hinted at European expansion dreams, envisioning a staggering 1,000 stores across the continent.
