Description

Colourful figurative print by artist Tony Green. Presented in a window mount, glazed and in a contemporary black frame, ready to hang on your wall. Since graduating from Central Saint Martins London in 2010, Tony Green went on to work on a variety of art and seasonal fashion projects for the iconic Parisian fashion house Sonia Rykiel, where he created illustrations, collection designs, prints and research concepts for the brand. Tony has collaborated with several international luxury brands and designers such as Nathan Jenden at Dianne Von Furstenburg New York, Freepeople and Selfridges. His illustrations have been seen in the World of Interiors, British Vogue magazine, London Life Magazines, Creative head Magazine and others. Collaborations include L'Oréal and Selfridges department stores where he created illustrations for pieces by JACQUEMUS, Prada and ADIDAS. Tony also regularly holds live illustration sessions and guest mentors with leading Fashion University IFM in Paris. In September 2021, Tony had a series of large-scale fashion illustrations shown at London Fashion Week as part of a presentation with F Word magazine, E.Macbean swimwear and designer Andrew Ibi. His original pieces and prints are collected worldwide with a loyal international client base. Several of Tony's pieces from March 2022 are displayed and can be bought in the House of Hackney's store in Shoreditch London. In August 2023, Tony created custom artwork for the iconic brand Smythson of Bond Street, London. Have you thought about wall hooks and fittings?

Our Stylist Says

I love this piece for its vibrant, contemporary vibe and playful palette, which make it a perfect statement in modern or eclectic interiors. The bold black frame provides a sleek finish that helps it stand out on a variety of wall colours, especially neutrals or lighter shades. It works well in living rooms, bedrooms, or even creative workspaces, adding a touch of fun and energy. For practical styling, try pairing it with minimal accessories to allow the artwork to shine, and consider placing it above a console or sideboard for added impact. Its size makes it versatile enough to draw attention without overwhelming the space, making it a fantastic choice for injecting personality into your decor.

About John Lewis

Founded in 1864, John Lewis is a trusted and beloved brand where you can find a diverse range of furniture for every style and budget, alongside finding the perfect item that reflects your personal taste.

A Legacy of Innovation and Inclusion

John Lewis started as a small shop on London's Oxford Street in 1864. Today, it's part of a bigger family called the John Lewis Partnership, which also includes Waitrose stores.

What makes them special is that they're owned by their employees, known as 'Partners'. The idea, from the beginning, was to give everyone a say in how the business was run. With over 74,000 Partners (employees) at the heart of its operations, the essence of John Lewis's vision, from over a century ago, still echoes today being the largest employee-owned venture.

Adapting to Changing Times

Like many stores, John Lewis has had to change with the times. They've closed some shops but have grown their online business a lot, especially when more people started shopping online during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Their history is filled with key moments, like buying Peter Jones in 1905, adding Waitrose in 1937, and starting their website in 2001. They've always tried to adapt and stay relevant.

Commitment to a Greater Purpose

John Lewis believes in doing good and making the world a better place. This is seen in the way they treat their employees and customers. For example, in 2021, they were the first big UK store to give parents six months paid leave when they have a baby and two weeks paid leave if they lose a pregnancy. They've been around for over a century and always aim to do the right thing by everyone.
