A framed reproduction print of 'Endless Rhythm', 1934, by Robert Delaunay, from the Tate collection. Made in the UK exclusively for John Lewis. The black frame is made of solid ayous wood. Framed with a card mount and glass front, it arrives ready to hang on your wall. Robert Delaunay (1885-1941) was a French artist whose early influences included Neo-impressionism and Cezanne. He painted his first abstract works, 'Disc' and 'Circular Forms' in 1912 and had his first solo exhibition in Paris the same year. After a period of painting figurative themes in the 1920s, he returned to complete abstraction. He believed that "colour is a thing in itself with its own powers of expression and form." Have you thought about wall hooks and fittings?
I love this print for its bold use of colour and modern abstract design, which adds visual interest without feeling overpowering. It works particularly well in contemporary or minimalist interiors, where it can serve as a striking focal point. To style, consider pairing it with neutral walls and simple furnishings to let the artwork stand out. It’s also versatile enough to complement a variety of spaces-from living rooms to home offices-just ensure it has enough space around it for impact. For a layered look, you might group it with other artworks or place it above a sleek sideboard or console to create a cohesive and stylish display.
