An abstract print by artist Tanja Eijgendaal. Mad. Made in the UK, this unglazed print is presented in a matt-finish frame, ready to hang on your wall. Graphic design, drawing, oil painting and acrylic painting: Tanja Eijgendaal learned all of these pictorial disciplines as soon as she graduated from high school. In 1998, the Danish artist completed her technical background with six months of classes overseas at the School of Visual Arts in New York. The following year, back on the old continent, she obtained a degree in graphic design at the Højer School of Design (Denmark). After working for several years in graphic design, she decided in 2002 to branch off on her own and devote more time to artistic creation. She exhibited throughout Denmark and began collaborating with the V58 gallery in Aarhus, the second-largest city in the country. Have you thought about wall hooks and fittings?
The John Lewis Tanja Eijgendaal 'Nightdusk' print is a striking piece that instantly adds an artistic touch to contemporary interiors. Its bold, abstract design and large scale make it a focal point, perfect for living rooms or open-plan spaces. I love how its muted colour palette is versatile enough to complement neutral tones while also providing a pop of colour to more colourful schemes. To style this piece effectively, consider pairing it with sleek, modern furniture and minimal accessories to let the artwork really stand out. It also works well above a sofa or sideboard, creating a sophisticated and effortless gallery wall when combined with other abstract or monochrome prints.
