Description

Using high quality cotton and an innovative spinning technique, we've created this sheeting to help regulate your temperature while you sleep, no matter the season. Made from 100% cotton, Hygro technology spins the fabric to create a hollow core which traps air to insulate and keep you warm in colder temperatures. In addition, the natural construction helps to wick away moisture lost during sleep to keep you cool in warmer conditions. So no matter the weather, you won't be troubled by the fluctuations in body temperature which can so easily disturb good quality sleep.? Deep fitted sheets will also accomodate the depth of a standard sized mattress that's being used with a mattress topper. Our Stylist Says

The John Lewis soft and silky sheet is a fantastic choice for creating a crisp, clean bedding look that works well in modern, minimalist, or classic interiors. Its 400 thread count cotton gives it a lovely balance between softness and durability, making it an excellent everyday option for both cosy and luxurious setups. I’d recommend pairing it with neutral tones like greys, beiges, or even pastels to keep the look light and fresh, or with rich jewel tones for a more opulent feel. Practical styling tips include folding the top edge over for a layered appearance or opting for a contrasting bedding cover to add a touch of colour or pattern. Its deep fit makes it perfect for thicker mattresses, ensuring a sleek, secure fit without slipping, which is ideal for a neat, polished bed.

About John Lewis

Founded in 1864, John Lewis is a trusted and beloved brand where you can find a diverse range of furniture for every style and budget, alongside finding the perfect item that reflects your personal taste.

A Legacy of Innovation and Inclusion

John Lewis started as a small shop on London's Oxford Street in 1864. Today, it's part of a bigger family called the John Lewis Partnership, which also includes Waitrose stores.

What makes them special is that they're owned by their employees, known as 'Partners'. The idea, from the beginning, was to give everyone a say in how the business was run. With over 74,000 Partners (employees) at the heart of its operations, the essence of John Lewis's vision, from over a century ago, still echoes today being the largest employee-owned venture.

Adapting to Changing Times

Like many stores, John Lewis has had to change with the times. They've closed some shops but have grown their online business a lot, especially when more people started shopping online during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Their history is filled with key moments, like buying Peter Jones in 1905, adding Waitrose in 1937, and starting their website in 2001. They've always tried to adapt and stay relevant.

Commitment to a Greater Purpose

John Lewis believes in doing good and making the world a better place. This is seen in the way they treat their employees and customers. For example, in 2021, they were the first big UK store to give parents six months paid leave when they have a baby and two weeks paid leave if they lose a pregnancy. They've been around for over a century and always aim to do the right thing by everyone.
