Description

Product Information The stylish Sansa sofabed offers functionality and flexibility. The two sections detach, allowing you to move the chaise section (with its hidden storage) from one side to the other, and the double section pulls out and converts into a large bed. Moulds to the body, snaps back to shape This sofa bed has a foam mattress. The foam acts like springs, moulding to the body for a supported sleep, but returning to the mattress's original shape when not in use. Sits like a sofa, sleeps like a bed When assembled as a sofa the seats are supported by flexible webbing, the same as traditional sofas. Using a 2-fold mechanism it opens into the bed, which is supported by beech slats much like many beds. This combination of webbing and slats means it's not a case of either a comfortable sofa or a comfortable bed. You get both. It's the little thingsWe care about our furniture; how it's designed, the materials used and the people who make it. Our Stylist Says

I love the John Lewis Sansa Scroll Arm Chaise End Sofa Bed for its versatile and timeless design, making it a great centrepiece in both modern and traditional interiors. The brushed tweed navy adds texture and colour control, allowing it to anchor a room's colour scheme while remaining understated. Its light legs bring a fresh, airy feel, perfect for smaller or contemporary spaces. For styling, try pairing it with neutral cushions and textured throws to add a cosy touch. It works well with both patterned and solid accessories, and adding a few statement lamps or artwork can elevate the look without overcrowding. Practical and stylish, it’s ideal for family rooms, open-plan living spaces, or even multi-purpose rooms that require comfort alongside function.

About John Lewis

Founded in 1864, John Lewis is a trusted and beloved brand where you can find a diverse range of furniture for every style and budget, alongside finding the perfect item that reflects your personal taste.

A Legacy of Innovation and Inclusion

John Lewis started as a small shop on London's Oxford Street in 1864. Today, it's part of a bigger family called the John Lewis Partnership, which also includes Waitrose stores.

What makes them special is that they're owned by their employees, known as 'Partners'. The idea, from the beginning, was to give everyone a say in how the business was run. With over 74,000 Partners (employees) at the heart of its operations, the essence of John Lewis's vision, from over a century ago, still echoes today being the largest employee-owned venture.

Adapting to Changing Times

Like many stores, John Lewis has had to change with the times. They've closed some shops but have grown their online business a lot, especially when more people started shopping online during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Their history is filled with key moments, like buying Peter Jones in 1905, adding Waitrose in 1937, and starting their website in 2001. They've always tried to adapt and stay relevant.

Commitment to a Greater Purpose

John Lewis believes in doing good and making the world a better place. This is seen in the way they treat their employees and customers. For example, in 2021, they were the first big UK store to give parents six months paid leave when they have a baby and two weeks paid leave if they lose a pregnancy. They've been around for over a century and always aim to do the right thing by everyone.
