Woven from 100% Merino wool in the UK, this classic wool throw, with a fringed edge, is an absolute bedroom essential. This throw offers style and warmth all in one. This luxurious woven throw is made from one of the most sought-after wool fibres. High-quality Merino wool is super soft and lightweight. Known for its breathable and insulating properties, wool is the perfect cosy layer. Plus, wool's natural resistance to bacteria means that this throw is naturally hypoallergenic. Wool Pilling A natural characteristic of wool is that when the item is used small fluffy balls form on the surface which is also known as pilling. Over time the pills will fall off and they will begin to form again less and less. High levels of friction can accelerate the rate at which the pilling occurs which is why we recommend that our woollen blankets are draped around the body as a blanket rather than being used as coverings for upholstery.
