Description

Product Information The Duplet daybed features exposed wooden arms and converts to become two singles or a kingsize bed. The bolster cushions can be used as pillows or placed at either end as arms. Moulds to the body, snaps back to shape This sofa bed has a foam mattress. The foam acts like springs, moulding to the body for a supported sleep, but returning to the mattress's original shape when not in use. A choice of Daybed or King Size bed Designed specifically with space saving living in mind Daybeds are a great solution. Depending on your space and your guests you have flexibility on what sort of bed to present. Formed of two foam mattresses they can be stacked on top of each to make a daybed, or laid side by side as two singles, or together to make a king size bed. Pattern placement We have a wide range of fabrics for you to choose from as part of our Design Your Own service. There's a spectrum of colours and textures, as well as a mix of plain and patterned designs. Our Stylist Says

I love this daybed for its clean lines and versatile design, making it a fantastic piece for both modern and minimalist interiors. Its neutral fabric and natural wooden detailing allow it to seamlessly blend into living rooms, guest rooms, or even home offices. Practical styling tips include layering with cosy throws and adding a few statement cushions to create an inviting look. It works especially well in spaces where you need an adaptable piece-use it as a sofa during the day and convert it into a bed when needed. Keep surrounding accessories simple to highlight its sleek silhouette, or personalise with bold cushions for more character.

About John Lewis

Founded in 1864, John Lewis is a trusted and beloved brand where you can find a diverse range of furniture for every style and budget, alongside finding the perfect item that reflects your personal taste.

A Legacy of Innovation and Inclusion

John Lewis started as a small shop on London's Oxford Street in 1864. Today, it's part of a bigger family called the John Lewis Partnership, which also includes Waitrose stores.

What makes them special is that they're owned by their employees, known as 'Partners'. The idea, from the beginning, was to give everyone a say in how the business was run. With over 74,000 Partners (employees) at the heart of its operations, the essence of John Lewis's vision, from over a century ago, still echoes today being the largest employee-owned venture.

Adapting to Changing Times

Like many stores, John Lewis has had to change with the times. They've closed some shops but have grown their online business a lot, especially when more people started shopping online during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Their history is filled with key moments, like buying Peter Jones in 1905, adding Waitrose in 1937, and starting their website in 2001. They've always tried to adapt and stay relevant.

Commitment to a Greater Purpose

John Lewis believes in doing good and making the world a better place. This is seen in the way they treat their employees and customers. For example, in 2021, they were the first big UK store to give parents six months paid leave when they have a baby and two weeks paid leave if they lose a pregnancy. They've been around for over a century and always aim to do the right thing by everyone.
