Description

This faceted glass solar lamp casts pretty patterns to create a relaxing ambience in your outdoor space. It can also be used indoors as long as it has been charged outdoors or on a sunny windowsill. Although it will operate in cloudy conditions, it'll shine most brightly after a sunny day. This light is best placed in a location that gets full, direct sunlight and away from a nighttime light source such as a porch light or street light, as these might stop the lights from switching on automatically. When not in use, please turn the switch to the "0" position and store in a cool and dry place.

Our Stylist Says

I love this blue faceted lantern for adding a pop of colour and a touch of modern elegance to outdoor spaces. Its blue hue makes it a striking feature when lit, casting a gentle glow that’s perfect for patios, garden seating areas, or even a balcony. It works particularly well in contemporary or nautical-inspired exteriors, but can also add interest to more traditional setups when paired with natural materials like wood or stone. Styling tips include grouping it with other lanterns of varying heights for visual interest, or combining it with greenery and soft furnishings for a cosy yet stylish outdoor corner. Since it’s solar-powered, it’s also a practical choice that minimises effort and energy use.

About John Lewis

Founded in 1864, John Lewis is a trusted and beloved brand where you can find a diverse range of furniture for every style and budget, alongside finding the perfect item that reflects your personal taste.

A Legacy of Innovation and Inclusion

John Lewis started as a small shop on London's Oxford Street in 1864. Today, it's part of a bigger family called the John Lewis Partnership, which also includes Waitrose stores.

What makes them special is that they're owned by their employees, known as 'Partners'. The idea, from the beginning, was to give everyone a say in how the business was run. With over 74,000 Partners (employees) at the heart of its operations, the essence of John Lewis's vision, from over a century ago, still echoes today being the largest employee-owned venture.

Adapting to Changing Times

Like many stores, John Lewis has had to change with the times. They've closed some shops but have grown their online business a lot, especially when more people started shopping online during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Their history is filled with key moments, like buying Peter Jones in 1905, adding Waitrose in 1937, and starting their website in 2001. They've always tried to adapt and stay relevant.

Commitment to a Greater Purpose

John Lewis believes in doing good and making the world a better place. This is seen in the way they treat their employees and customers. For example, in 2021, they were the first big UK store to give parents six months paid leave when they have a baby and two weeks paid leave if they lose a pregnancy. They've been around for over a century and always aim to do the right thing by everyone.
