Made with a layer of 1,400 zoned pocket springs which ensure your spine is aligned and supported throughout the night to relieve aches and pains Each spring works independently, reacting to the individual body shape and weight to provide just the right amount of support The recycled polyester comfort layer is breathable and wicks away moisture to keep your sleep environment cool and clean The hand-tufted mattress top is soft-to-touch and provides a naturally more supportive sleep surface. It’s comfortable and durable, too Each mattress is handmade to order in the UK and can be fully recycled at end of life We recommend using a good quality mattress protector under your bed linen to protect your new mattress from spills and stains. About John Lewis
A Legacy of Innovation and Inclusion
John Lewis started as a small shop on London's Oxford Street in 1864. Today, it's part of a bigger family called the John Lewis Partnership, which also includes Waitrose stores.

Their history is filled with key moments, like buying Peter Jones in 1905, adding Waitrose in 1937, and starting their website in 2001. They've always tried to adapt and stay relevant.

John Lewis believes in doing good and making the world a better place. This is seen in the way they treat their employees and customers. For example, in 2021, they were the first big UK store to give parents six months paid leave when they have a baby and two weeks paid leave if they lose a pregnancy.
