We've made this sturdy divan base from responsibly-sourced pine wood. Non-sprung, it's designed with a platform top which provides a firmer feel for sleepers who prefer more support. Great if space is limited in your bedroom, there are two spacious drawers so you can really maximise your storage options. Divan base with recycled cotton panel The central/inner panel found on top of the divan base is made from recycled cotton fabric sourced from the Better Cotton initiative mass balance programme. This unbleached panel may help reduce any mattress movement on the divan. The breathable, natural fibre panel is fire resistant without the use of traditional FR chemicals. Choose from one of our fabrics: Our Band A fabric, Cotton Effect has a laid-back and fine-textured look that looks like cotton, but it's made from durable polyester fibres Our Band B fabric, Relaxed Linen gives you the fine texture of cotton, the durability of synthetic fibres and the laid-back look of linen Want to see it first? John Lewis started as a small shop on London's Oxford Street in 1864. Today, it's part of a bigger family called the John Lewis Partnership, which also includes Waitrose stores.
