Price History

Description

Your standard chest of drawers just got a bold, boho update. Made from mango wood using traditional design methods, we love its raw-tone finish and intricate pattern on each drawer front. Our in-house designers also kept the edges smooth and the legs curved for an extra retro styling point. And with three deep drawers, you'll have plenty of space for your clothes and accessories. Want to see it first? You may want to see and get a feel for the furniture in one of our shops before ordering. We'll be able to tell you where the range you'd like to view is on display.

Our Stylist Says

I love this black chest of drawers for its sleek, modern aesthetic with a touch of texture thanks to the studded detailing on the front. It’s a versatile piece that works well in various interiors, from contemporary spaces to eclectic or even boho styles when styled with layered accessories. Its monochrome palette allows for easy pairing with bold colours or soft neutrals, making it a flexible addition to bedrooms, living rooms, or even hallway schemes. Practical styling tip: try pairing it with metallic accents or glassware on top to balance its matte finish and add a touch of sophistication. It’s a piece that combines form and function effortlessly, bringing a clean yet distinctive look to any room.

About John Lewis

Founded in 1864, John Lewis is a trusted and beloved brand where you can find a diverse range of furniture for every style and budget, alongside finding the perfect item that reflects your personal taste.

A Legacy of Innovation and Inclusion

John Lewis started as a small shop on London's Oxford Street in 1864. Today, it's part of a bigger family called the John Lewis Partnership, which also includes Waitrose stores.

What makes them special is that they're owned by their employees, known as 'Partners'. The idea, from the beginning, was to give everyone a say in how the business was run. With over 74,000 Partners (employees) at the heart of its operations, the essence of John Lewis's vision, from over a century ago, still echoes today being the largest employee-owned venture.

Adapting to Changing Times

Like many stores, John Lewis has had to change with the times. They've closed some shops but have grown their online business a lot, especially when more people started shopping online during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Their history is filled with key moments, like buying Peter Jones in 1905, adding Waitrose in 1937, and starting their website in 2001. They've always tried to adapt and stay relevant.

Commitment to a Greater Purpose

John Lewis believes in doing good and making the world a better place. This is seen in the way they treat their employees and customers. For example, in 2021, they were the first big UK store to give parents six months paid leave when they have a baby and two weeks paid leave if they lose a pregnancy. They've been around for over a century and always aim to do the right thing by everyone.
