Description

Made from linen this roller blind is perfect if you're trying to bring an organic, calming atmosphere to the room. Just be aware that because it's a natural material it does mean there can be some variation in the shade. The sheer quality allows maximum light into the room, just taking off some of the sun's glare. It offers less privacy than other blind types making it a great accompaniment for curtains for when you do want to shut out from the outside world. Key features: Can be installed either inside or outside the window recess, to the wall or ceiling Can be standard or reverse rolled. Standard gives a close fit to the window, helping eliminate light. Reverse brings the material forward over the roll which conceals it and creates space between the blind and window Chain mechanism can be attached on the left or right-hand side, without affecting the way the blind is rolled Width can be cut to size Supplied with easy fit universal brackets Includes safety devices to keep children safe Worth knowing... The width stated in our product specifications is the total width of the blind including mechanisms and brackets. The width of the fabric alone will be a few centimetres less than this. Safety warning Young children can be strangled by loops in pull cords, chains, tapes and inner cords that operate the product. To avoid strangulation and entanglement, keep cords out of the reach of young children - cords may become wrapped around a child's neck Move beds, cots and furniture away from window covering cords Do not tie cords together. Make sure cords do not twist and create a loop More information on child safety can be found on our Child Safety Hub

Our Stylist Says

I love this linen sheer roller blind for its understated elegance and versatility. Its natural tone and light filtering qualities make it an excellent choice for creating a soft, airy atmosphere, especially in living rooms or bedrooms where you want to maximise daylight while maintaining privacy. It works particularly well in interiors with neutral palettes, Scandi or farmhouse styles, but can also complement more contemporary spaces by adding a touch of texture. Practical styling tips include pairing it with layered window treatments, such as curtains or heavier blinds, for added privacy and insulation, or leaving it bare during the day to have an unobstructed view outside. Its minimalist design makes it a great staple piece that effortlessly adapts to changing decor themes.

About John Lewis

Founded in 1864, John Lewis is a trusted and beloved brand where you can find a diverse range of furniture for every style and budget, alongside finding the perfect item that reflects your personal taste.

A Legacy of Innovation and Inclusion

John Lewis started as a small shop on London's Oxford Street in 1864. Today, it's part of a bigger family called the John Lewis Partnership, which also includes Waitrose stores.

What makes them special is that they're owned by their employees, known as 'Partners'. The idea, from the beginning, was to give everyone a say in how the business was run. With over 74,000 Partners (employees) at the heart of its operations, the essence of John Lewis's vision, from over a century ago, still echoes today being the largest employee-owned venture.

Adapting to Changing Times

Like many stores, John Lewis has had to change with the times. They've closed some shops but have grown their online business a lot, especially when more people started shopping online during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Their history is filled with key moments, like buying Peter Jones in 1905, adding Waitrose in 1937, and starting their website in 2001. They've always tried to adapt and stay relevant.

Commitment to a Greater Purpose

John Lewis believes in doing good and making the world a better place. This is seen in the way they treat their employees and customers. For example, in 2021, they were the first big UK store to give parents six months paid leave when they have a baby and two weeks paid leave if they lose a pregnancy. They've been around for over a century and always aim to do the right thing by everyone.
