Description

Henley two-seater garden bistro dining table and chairs set, made with wrought iron frames in a tough all-weather finish. The chairs have rounded mesh backrests with decorative leaf detailing. We've included protective footcaps on the table and chair legs for indoor as well as outdoor use. The chairs are stackable and each robust frame has been tested to withstand up to 17 stone (120kg). Elegant and sturdy, the John Lewis Henley by KETTLER range is made from wrought iron and steel, with a hard-wearing and enhanced Thermoguard+ coating to prevent rusting. The wrought iron frames are coated at 350-degrees Celsius in a mixture of polyester and aluminium to create a tough iron-grey finish that's seven times thicker than paint. Specially developed for outdoor conditions, the coating offers excellent weather protection. This range of garden furniture can withstand the elements and, apart from the cushions, can stay outdoors all year round. It's low maintenance and only requires an occasional wash with mild soapy water. For durability and strength, the range's thick gauge steel mesh surfaces are welded directly to the frames rather than spot-welded. All nuts and bolts are stainless steel for weather-resistant longevity. The range comes with a five-year anti-rust guarantee. Key features: Two stackable garden dining armchairs with rounded backs Round 70cm garden bistro dining table Comes with protective footcaps Wrought iron and steel mesh frames Each seat withstands up to 17 stone (120kg) Low maintenance and weather-resistant Enhanced Thermoguard+ coating prevents rusting Cushions available, sold separately Match with other furniture in the range

Our Stylist Says

I’m a fan of the Henley bistro set for its neat, powder-coated steel frame and iron grey finish, which suit everything from a modern city balcony to a rustic garden corner. Its slim profile makes it ideal for tight spots, while the neutral tone layers easily with cushions or a lightweight outdoor rug. For styling, try weatherproof seat pads in soft hues, a couple of potted herbs or succulents on the table and a string of festoon lights above to create a relaxed al fresco dining nook.

About John Lewis

Founded in 1864, John Lewis is a trusted and beloved brand where you can find a diverse range of furniture for every style and budget, alongside finding the perfect item that reflects your personal taste.

A Legacy of Innovation and Inclusion

John Lewis started as a small shop on London's Oxford Street in 1864. Today, it's part of a bigger family called the John Lewis Partnership, which also includes Waitrose stores.

What makes them special is that they're owned by their employees, known as 'Partners'. The idea, from the beginning, was to give everyone a say in how the business was run. With over 74,000 Partners (employees) at the heart of its operations, the essence of John Lewis's vision, from over a century ago, still echoes today being the largest employee-owned venture.

Adapting to Changing Times

Like many stores, John Lewis has had to change with the times. They've closed some shops but have grown their online business a lot, especially when more people started shopping online during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Their history is filled with key moments, like buying Peter Jones in 1905, adding Waitrose in 1937, and starting their website in 2001. They've always tried to adapt and stay relevant.

Commitment to a Greater Purpose

John Lewis believes in doing good and making the world a better place. This is seen in the way they treat their employees and customers. For example, in 2021, they were the first big UK store to give parents six months paid leave when they have a baby and two weeks paid leave if they lose a pregnancy. They've been around for over a century and always aim to do the right thing by everyone.
