I’m a fan of the Hendricks chair for its clean, mid-century silhouette and supportive high back - the slim wooden arms and dark leather seat mean it never looks bulky, and the leather will develop a lovely patina over time. It sits equally well in a Scandi-inspired living room or a more eclectic study, especially against a neutral wall or alongside warm timber furniture. For styling, add a contrasting cushion in a tactile wool or linen to soften the leather and introduce pattern; a cosy throw draped over one arm works in winter. Position it next to a slimline floor lamp and a low side table with a brass or ceramic detail to create a comfortable reading nook. Keep surrounding décor pared-back so the chair remains the focal point.
