Description

Our Harvard range of furniture combines Art-Deco style with modern shapes to inject character into your space. This TV stand is made from sturdy MDF and walnut veneers in a painted finish and features a central shelf section and two cupboard sections, each designed with an adjustable shelf inside. We love the fluid pattern inset on the door fronts, as well as the brass finish handles and tapered legs, all of which add to its sleek look. Plus, cable management holes at the back help to keep long cables tidy and organised. Want to see it first? You may want to see and get a feel for the furniture in one of our shops before ordering. We'll be able to tell you where the range you'd like to view is on display.

Our Stylist Says

I love this media unit for its clean lines and warm walnut finish, which bring a sophisticated yet inviting vibe to any living space. It works particularly well in contemporary or mid-century inspired interiors, where its sleek design can be showcased without overwhelming the room. Practical styling tips include pairing it with minimalist accessories or maintaining a clutter-free look with a few well-chosen decorative objects, such as vases or framed art. Its versatile design also lends itself to being a focal point in a lounge or open-plan space, while the gold-toned legs add a touch of luxe. Overall, this piece is ideal for anyone looking to combine functionality with a modern aesthetic.

About John Lewis

Founded in 1864, John Lewis is a trusted and beloved brand where you can find a diverse range of furniture for every style and budget, alongside finding the perfect item that reflects your personal taste.

A Legacy of Innovation and Inclusion

John Lewis started as a small shop on London's Oxford Street in 1864. Today, it's part of a bigger family called the John Lewis Partnership, which also includes Waitrose stores.

What makes them special is that they're owned by their employees, known as 'Partners'. The idea, from the beginning, was to give everyone a say in how the business was run. With over 74,000 Partners (employees) at the heart of its operations, the essence of John Lewis's vision, from over a century ago, still echoes today being the largest employee-owned venture.

Adapting to Changing Times

Like many stores, John Lewis has had to change with the times. They've closed some shops but have grown their online business a lot, especially when more people started shopping online during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Their history is filled with key moments, like buying Peter Jones in 1905, adding Waitrose in 1937, and starting their website in 2001. They've always tried to adapt and stay relevant.

Commitment to a Greater Purpose

John Lewis believes in doing good and making the world a better place. This is seen in the way they treat their employees and customers. For example, in 2021, they were the first big UK store to give parents six months paid leave when they have a baby and two weeks paid leave if they lose a pregnancy. They've been around for over a century and always aim to do the right thing by everyone.
