Description

Our Foxmoor media unit is an attractive way to store all your media and features three cable holes at the back so recorders and streaming devices can be stored neatly out of sight. A fold-down flap, disguised as a drawer, makes playing DVD or Blu-Ray discs simple and the top can accommodate a TV up to 60". Maximum loads: 50kg for the top surface, 10kg for the shelf. Foxmoor offers modern country style for a fresh and calming space you'll love to come home to. Details include hand-glazed oak veneer framed tops, elegantly turned legs and Shaker-style doors and drawers with beaded detailing. The hardwearing paint finish is beautifully complemented by aged brass effect handles and barrel hinges and coordinates well with other soft tones, as well as natural materials such as wicker and linen. All the wood used in our Foxmoor furniture range is FSC certified. By choosing this product you are supporting responsible management of the world's forests. The Forest Stewardship Council® (FSC®) is a global, not-for-profit organisation that helps take care of forests and the people and wildlife that call them home. To learn more, visit fsc.org. Want to see it first? You may want to see and get a feel for the furniture in one of our shops before ordering. We'll be able to tell you where the range you'd like to view is on display.

Our Stylist Says

I love this John Lewis Foxmoor media unit because of its versatile design and natural FSC-certified acacia wood finish, which adds warmth and texture to a variety of interiors. It works particularly well in neutral, coastal, or country-inspired living spaces, where its soft cream and natural wood tones can be complemented by wicker, linen, and other organic materials. Practical styling tips include layering it with decorative baskets or trays for a tidy look, or adding a few curated accessories like vintage books or a vase of fresh flowers to keep it feeling welcoming. Its size and storage capacity also make it a functional piece that balances style with everyday living.

About John Lewis

Founded in 1864, John Lewis is a trusted and beloved brand where you can find a diverse range of furniture for every style and budget, alongside finding the perfect item that reflects your personal taste.

A Legacy of Innovation and Inclusion

John Lewis started as a small shop on London's Oxford Street in 1864. Today, it's part of a bigger family called the John Lewis Partnership, which also includes Waitrose stores.

What makes them special is that they're owned by their employees, known as 'Partners'. The idea, from the beginning, was to give everyone a say in how the business was run. With over 74,000 Partners (employees) at the heart of its operations, the essence of John Lewis's vision, from over a century ago, still echoes today being the largest employee-owned venture.

Adapting to Changing Times

Like many stores, John Lewis has had to change with the times. They've closed some shops but have grown their online business a lot, especially when more people started shopping online during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Their history is filled with key moments, like buying Peter Jones in 1905, adding Waitrose in 1937, and starting their website in 2001. They've always tried to adapt and stay relevant.

Commitment to a Greater Purpose

John Lewis believes in doing good and making the world a better place. This is seen in the way they treat their employees and customers. For example, in 2021, they were the first big UK store to give parents six months paid leave when they have a baby and two weeks paid leave if they lose a pregnancy. They've been around for over a century and always aim to do the right thing by everyone.
