Description

These lined eyelet curtains feature our Exotic Garden pattern. It's a riotous print of plants and flowers in bright colours that brings life into your home. The lining adds the perfect finish, improving the drape and enhancing the vibrancy of the pattern. The width stated indicates the size of one curtain panel when laid completely flat. This pack contains two panels and the track/pole length we've recommended allows for the two panels to be gathered when the curtains are drawn. For a fuller look, increase the curtain width. One pair of 117cm width curtains will fit a curtain track/pole size 117-167cm One pair of 167cm width curtains will fit a curtain track/pole size 133-167cm One pair of 228cm width curtains will fit a curtain track/pole size 182-228cm Better Cotton By choosing our cotton products, you’re supporting our investment in Better Cotton’s mission to help cotton communities survive and thrive while protecting and restoring the environment. Better Cotton Farmers are farmers who care for the environment and respect workers’ rights and wellbeing. This product is sourced via a system of mass balance and therefore may not contain Better Cotton. bettercotton.org/massbalance Worth knowing... We package our curtains in recycled materials to keep them protected whilst they make their way to you. This means that when they arrive there could be some creases in them. We recommend you hang them for a few days to allow them to flatten and for the creases to fall out. If after this period your curtains still show signs of being folded then follow the ironing instructions on the back of the packaging. Be aware that each style of curtain has different ironing instructions, including heat limitations according to the fabric, so do make sure you follow the guidance provided to get the best results. Our Stylist Says

I love this pair of John Lewis exotic garden curtains for their bold, tropical print which instantly brings a lively and vibrant feel to any room. They work particularly well in spaces with a neutral colour palette, adding a splash of colour and pattern without overwhelming the decor. These curtains are ideal for bedrooms or living rooms where you want to create a statement whilst also benefiting from their lined design, which helps block out light and insulate. For styling, consider pairing with understated furniture and accessories in natural materials like wood or wicker to complement the botanical theme. Hanging them with a simple, sleek pole will keep the focus on the lush print and enhance their contemporary yet tropical vibe.

About John Lewis

Founded in 1864, John Lewis is a trusted and beloved brand where you can find a diverse range of furniture for every style and budget, alongside finding the perfect item that reflects your personal taste.

A Legacy of Innovation and Inclusion

John Lewis started as a small shop on London's Oxford Street in 1864. Today, it's part of a bigger family called the John Lewis Partnership, which also includes Waitrose stores.

What makes them special is that they're owned by their employees, known as 'Partners'. The idea, from the beginning, was to give everyone a say in how the business was run. With over 74,000 Partners (employees) at the heart of its operations, the essence of John Lewis's vision, from over a century ago, still echoes today being the largest employee-owned venture.

Adapting to Changing Times

Like many stores, John Lewis has had to change with the times. They've closed some shops but have grown their online business a lot, especially when more people started shopping online during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Their history is filled with key moments, like buying Peter Jones in 1905, adding Waitrose in 1937, and starting their website in 2001. They've always tried to adapt and stay relevant.

Commitment to a Greater Purpose

John Lewis believes in doing good and making the world a better place. This is seen in the way they treat their employees and customers. For example, in 2021, they were the first big UK store to give parents six months paid leave when they have a baby and two weeks paid leave if they lose a pregnancy. They've been around for over a century and always aim to do the right thing by everyone.
